David along with stallion Jays Smokin Story were delighted to travel to the centre of London for two days recently to demonstrate western riding in the heart of the London business district at Regents Place. This event which is put on for office workers in the large business complex at Regents Place proved to be extremely popular with everyone concerned, including the organisers who were amazed at just how easy going and laid back both David and Jay were, surrounded by the busy city, the noise and constant activity.
Just goes to show, you can take those two anywhere and they'll make friends! Next stop for the SQH Demo Team is the Three Counties Show, followed by the CLA Game Fair at Blenheim in July.

We're delighted that there will be one of the popular AQHA Horsemanship Camps running in the UK in 2010. Taking place here at Horse Creek Farm 22-24th July, this is a unique opportunity to work with American clinicians chosen by AQHA.

The Westernscene Camp held 2-4th June had great weather, great Horse Creek Farm hospitality and everyone had great fun. Rather than us waxing lyrical about how great it was... lets let the participants have their say...

a fantastic week I have just had up at soverign quarter horses a great
week at camp working with some truly great people all of which were so
welcoming, some great meals, and truly great company and fun in late
eves to early morn, lovely people, lovely atmosphere, and a good end to a
great week"

"What can I say, amazing Trainers,
a fantastic opportunity to ride my horse and came away knowing that I learnt so
much. Yes, it could be said that it was a shame that I didn't make the
competition day but I won my class on the
Saturday when David had me loping one handed for about a week and a half.
I have never felt what my horse is doing so well, I have never felt so relaxed
and my horse has never gone that well for me. I had just the best time! You are all fantastic and thank you for being such brilliant people!"

We're very excited, we're expecting around 13 foals this year, so far three have arrived. Our Zippo Award daughter has has a gorgeous foal by Snipper, she's a real chocolate brown at the moment, but David says that she is going to be grey like her mother.
One Easy Chic, who's sons and daughters are very sought after and perform well has had a nice buckskin colt by Checking.
Snippanenglands Rose - who always does us proud with her foals. Well she's had an absolutely gorgeous colt by Blazin Chic Olena. Wow.... this is our first foal by Blaze and he is everything we imagined he'd be, he's just gorgeous.
We'll post photos of the babies soon.
