Wow, another great SQH/TX show, over 40 horses on site, big class entries and amazing prizes and a lot of big smiles.
The Show on 5th June followed on from a very successful Westernscene Camp held over 3 days, expert coaching from four coaches over the three days proved very successful, and there were a lot of very happy people (albeit a bit tired!) The line dancing on Friday night proved very popular too!
Wow, what a day. Gorgeous weather, special presents for all competitors on arrival (which proved very popular), nearly 40 horses on site competing and a nail biting finish to the winter league. Easter Eggs were prizes to the top two in each class with prizes down to 6th in all classes, and in some cases to 9th.
Following on from the Tim Kimura Clinic on 15-16th April, Horse Creek Farm played host to the final show of the SQH Challenge Winter League, the Winter High Point Champions in Youth and Adult would be crowned, along with the UKPHA Paint Horse High Point winner, and of course the Show 3 High Point winners.
A cold but sunny day saw 22 horses arrive at Horse Creek Farm for the second of the three winter series of shows. We always say we have fun, but we really do, these are informal shows with great prizes, we want you to have a go and enjoy yourself. Judge Sarah Deptford along with her assistant and commentator David Deptford did a fantastic job with classes of 15 and 16 in some cases meaning go arounds in some classes - we always try to make sure everyone has enough room and has a good ride.
