THE TX RANCH
Who we are

For those who are looking for an authentic ranch experience in scenic open range country, riding with out boundaries and good honest western hospitality. The TX Ranch invites you to take a step back in time for the experience of a life time you will never forget! The TX Guest Ranch originated in 1976 ~ long before the film City Slickers ever hit the big screen!

What we do
Respectfully we operate the ranch in the same manner our great grand folks did because we value their ways. Guests have the opportunity to experience "hands on" the life of a real working cowboy or cowgirl and help out with everything from roundups and cattle drives to chasing down strays! You'll have the opportunity to ride alongside some honest-to-goodness, genuine cowboys and will be welcome to try as much or as little as desired. We offer great riding opportunities with a wide variety of distance to cover for every rider! The cattle drives and the many seasonal working cattle and horse related activities are a genuine and necessary part of our lives!Don't just visit the West ~ Live it!

Where we are located
We're not in Texas! The TX Ranch straddles the Wyoming/Montana border. Its privately owned range country begins on either side of the Pryor Mountain, stretching for miles on down to the Big Horn Canyon and its breathtaking overlook. It borders the Pryor Mountain Wild Horse Range. Many historical homestead sites exist with-in it's boundaries. On the map, we're located between Billings, Montana and Lovell, Wyoming.
