SQH & AQHA UK Bowling Evening |
As Lindsay is one of the Cambridgeshire AQHA UK regional co-ordinators, on Saturday 23rd February she organised a joint AQHA UK and SQH Bowling night at Guyhirn in Cambridge as a chance to get together and have some fun without the horses.
We had great fun with 13 of us taking over two bowling lanes for two
games, with Michael Roberts captaining the "A Team" and David in charge
of his own team of bowling maestros including AQHA UK Photographer
Nathan Haynes, who originally said that this wasn't something he'd ever
done, and then turned around and scored a strike! After the game, we
all then went for an incredible chinese meal at a wonderful restaurant
not too far away that David and Sarah had recommended. We all had a great evening; good company, great
competition we all had Quarter Horses and Western in common, although
there wasn't a horse in sight! Any ideas for the next social?
