The Sovereign "All Stars" - we really must get some T Shirts! - were out in force at the QH2000 Show held over the past weekend, we had an awesome show!
In the Halter Classes both Jays Smokin Story and Sean Dillon were Grand

incredibly well. Jays son, the John Faulkner owned Snip of a Jay or
"Homer" as he is known at home stood Grand Champion Gelding both days.
Sean Dillon's two year old gelding, Colonel Ferguson owned by Jane and
Mike Roberts won his class both days, with Fiona Leask's Zero Turbo
Charge, another Sean Dillon gelding, standing 3rd on the Saturday in Aged
Geldings.
Jay's daughters did fantastically well in the Halter classes
as well with Jays Centrefold, Tracy Haynes Yearling Jay daughter
winning her halter class on both days. Dorothy Coleman's Snippnbelles
Star took 1st place in the two year old mares on day one, and 2nd place
on day two shown by David. Sandra Ostojic's Quincy's All Dolled Up

having been third on day one, and followed up by standing Reserve Grand
Champion. David showed his own Miss Quincy Award to a 4th and 2nd
place in the Aged Mares. As usual we were incredibly busy during the halter classes, but it was well worth it!
In the performance classes David started off the weekend with a 3rd
place in a hotly contested Senior Western Pleasure on John Parson's
Addicted to Storyin, and on the Sunday won a 4th place with Sandra
Mitchell's Jays Smokin Story daughter Ima Sassy Story in the Junior
Western Pleasure behind Mike and Jane Roberts Sean Dillon daughter,
Hannah Bernstein who loped her way to 2nd in the Junior Western
Pleasure on the Sunday. Hollie Wright on Jays Hot Shot Story earned a
2nd in one of the reining classes with Lester Wilson winning the BR
Rookie class on one of the days riding Doktor Jack, with John Faulkner
on Old Vaquero hot on his heels in 2nd place. David rode Sean Dillon
to 3rd place in the AQHA reining class and won the Open Reining on Old
Vaquero with a score of 71. Andrew Plant showing Mike and Jane Roberts
Sean Dillon daughter Miss Poppy Freckles SD was up there in the ribbons
in the reining classes and let's not forget Sarah, riding Snippers
Della Reed, she earned a 6th in the Senior Trail on Friday and then
aboard her new horse "Chex Out This Action", she slid her way to
victory in the Ltd Open Reining.
These are just some highlights of the show, superbly run by Bill and
Carole Archer, we're looking forward to the next show... all you
