East Coast All Stars - Days One |
The East Coast Show is well underway and the Sovereign "All Stars" are out in force on day one of the show.
With the show starting at 7.30 this morning, Lindsay Doel was in the
second class of the day on LJ Classic Luke getting a 6th out of a large
class in the Nov Am Trail. She followed this up by winning the Nov Am
Hunter Under Saddle out of a big class and going 2nd in
the NSBA Non Pro Hunter Under Saddle.
Amanda Griffiths in her first ever Hunter Under Saddle class rode the
gorgeous Snippers Mito Bella to a 6th place in the Novice Amateur.
Andrew Plant rode Helen Smith's Appaloosa colt, Rustlers Private Bil to 6th place in the NSBA Open Western Pleasure.
On to the Reining classes with substantial entries, and David Deptford
won the BR Open and AQHA All Ages classes with John Faulkners Old
Vaquero, whilst placing with his own Jays Smokin Story.
Sarah Deptford was 3rd, hot on David's heels in the BR Open and AQHA All Ages classes on Chex Out This Action.
In the BR Rookie Class, John Faulkner riding Old Vaquero won the class
with a score of 69.5 with Hollie Wright on Jays Hot Shot Story coming
in 4th place. Camilla Calverley Halford on Wranglers Teeny Leena took
home the blue ribbon in the AQHA Novice Amateur Reining. All in all, a very good, if busy day one..
