The Westernscene camp is taking place at the moment, 25 riders and their horses have been on site since Wednesday evening, even though we've had nearly 4 inches of rain in 3 days, all is well and the outside arena and stabling is holding up well. We've been really lucky with the weather, and one group has been able to work outside every day (lets keep our fingers crossed).
Organiser Linda Crossland of Westernscene (www.westernscene.co.uk) has worked very hard to organise this event, with five groups of people, one group resting, and three groups working with clinicians, and one group trail riding, the groups swop around every couple of hours, meaning that the day is jam packed with activities. On Thursday night, Linda had organised a talk about Aloe Vera Products and their uses with equines (and humans). Saturday is the last day of the camp, and then on Sunday 1st June, the Westernscene AQHA Novice Amateur and All Breed Show will be taking place.
