SQH TX Challenge Huge Success
The first SQH TX challenge Show held on Sunday 3rd August was a great success.  We were thrilled with the response from competitors.  With 40 horses competing in a whole host of classes aimed for all levels, including showmanship, walk jog pleasure, horsemanship and trail, and Youth, Novice, Amateur and Open classes, the battle for the holiday to the TX Ranch is fierce.   The full hi point standings are listed below.

Our Judge for the day was Alan Payne with his lovely wife Sally scribing for him and they did a fantastic job, thank you so much.   We had Karaoke David Deptford commentating (towards the end part of the afternoon, his singing along with T-Rex had Sarah Deptford acting as collecting ring steward slightly concerned, but as usual he gave amusing commentary to the days proceedings - he is banned from the commentary box for our next show on 12th October, as he will be the Judge, so those of you who's ears are still ringing, it'll be safe to come out again!).  Thank you to Dorothy Coleman who acted as our rosette lady for the day, she was great fun and did a great job.  Of course thanks to everyone who helped us put the trail course out, and for John Faulkner for pole spotting during trail. Don from the Western Boot and Saddles Company kindly sponsored two of the walk jog classes, again, grateful thanks to him.  Nathan Haynes from NRH Photography was there to capture the day on film, but more importantly, thank you to the competitors, you made it the fun day we hoped it would be and we hope to see you again in October.

TX Hi Point standings are listed below and we'll be uploading score sheets too.
