| A Snip of a Jay, owned by John Faulkener and bred and shown by David Deptford, won the Champion of Champions Award, The Supreme Halter Champion Trophy on Friday. "Homer" as he is known at home, is a four year old gelding by Jays Smokin Story, who has himself been a Reserve Supreme Champion at the 2006 AQHA UK Breed Show and out of Snippanenglands Rose. "Homer" has had a great year in 2008, winning multiple Grand Championships, and qualifying for the World Show and completing his Open Halter Register of Merit. | |
