2011 Stallion Showcase - Jays Smokin Story |
 With our Open Day on 10th April, Snippers Heirogance, Jays Smokin Story and Blazin Chic Olena are being worked ready to be shown to prospective clients at our Open Day.
We've be updating photos additional photos of all the stallions and their offspring over the next few weeks, third in our stallion showcase is Jays Smokin Story.
We can quite honestly say Jay has surpassed all our expectations as a sire (and we had BIG expectations). His get have earned points in all events and all divisions, with 2 AQHA UK Supreme Halter Champions and a Reserve Supreme Champion, Register of Merits, Open and Youth All Around Awards. Jay has a great reputation as a stallion, his offspring all seem to inherit his good conformation and his very easy going nature.
The greatest advertisement for a stallion is the fact that people breed back to him year after year and they are thrilled with the results.

Imported by Sovereign Quarter Horses in 2002. Full brother to Jays
Story who is a two times Reserve World Champion in Working Cow Horse
events. Jays Smokin Story is a Grandson of the legendary Colonel
Freckles and Mr Gun Smoke.
Jay, as with all of our stallions, has excellent conformation and
temperament and has passed it on to all of his offspring.

Performance History and Awards

| Jay has a Halter Register of Merit and AQHA points in
Reining, as well as being an NRHA money earner. He shows his true
versatility by also having points in Trail and Hunter Under Saddle. Jay
has also represented Great Britain in the Reining Arena as part of the
British Team in Italy in 2005. |

Jays offspring are surpassing even our great
expectations for them! Halter Register of Merits in both Amateur and
Open, AQHA All Around Winners and Reserve Winners. Multiple Grand
Championships in Halter. You name it and they win it!
ALL of Jays offspring are very calm, exceptionally well put together,
with easy dispositions, and show great movement, don't just believe us,
believe the AQHA Judges who consistently award the blue ribbons to
them.
Multiple AQHA and AQHA UK year end awards and high point awards, with AQHA points earned in Open, Amateur, Nov Am and Youth.
In 2008 a Jay son, A Snip of a Jay became the AQHA UK Supreme Halter
Champion and became the AQHA UK's poster horse his image being used for
all promotional material.
In 2009 another Jay son, the two year old Poppet Smoked a Jay became
AQHA UK's Supreme Halter Champion. The reserve Supreme Champion was
Jay's two year old daughter, Jays Centrefold - a clean sweep for the
Jays Smokin Story Offspring, something that has never, as far as we are
aware been done before!
In 2009 and 2010 a Jay offspring helped their owner to win the AQHA Rookie of the Year Award - just showing in halter!

quality to perform well in the show pen, but also has the easy going
laid back attitude that means he can be your horse to do a bit of
everything, you really need to look no further.
