SQH Winter League Finale
Wow, what a day.  Gorgeous weather, special presents for all competitors on arrival (which proved very popular), nearly 40 horses on site competing and a nail biting finish to the winter league.  Easter Eggs were prizes to the top two in each class with prizes down to 6th in all classes, and in some cases to 9th.

Following on from the Tim Kimura Clinic on 15-16th April, Horse Creek Farm played host to the final show of the SQH Challenge Winter League, the Winter High Point Champions in Youth and Adult would be crowned, along with the UKPHA Paint Horse High Point winner, and of course the Show 3 High Point winners.


We introduced at this show the Jackpot trail class, with 7 entries, competing over a course designed by Tim Kimura, it was lovely that the spectactors clapped after each round, as the course was hard.  Don't worry competitors, we'll be holding the Jackpot Trail class again and it will be a lot easier, and we will publish it in advance, but we thought with Mr Kimura on site, it might be good to utilise one of his patterns and be particular evil and only publish the pattern on the morning of the show!  There were so many poles, we had to get the forklift in carry them all!!  Congratulations to Chris Dalton who won £28, prize money went down to 4th place.  So remember, the more who enter, the bigger the prize money all the way down the line.

The Show Three High Point for Youth was won by Sophie Mead on Trixie, who is also known as This Chicks Smokin, with Cheryl Hewson and Pebbles (Absolutely Addicting) taking the honours for the Adults in show three.

The Winter High Point Award of a trophy, sash, and flowers and chocolates was won by Sandra Groome with Montana Minstrel for the Adults, and Avril Wilson with Story of Smoke for the Youths.

The UKPHA Paint Horse High Point was won by Lucy Adams with her stallion Driftins White Choice.

The following horses and riders should be congratulated for making the top 9 in the winter high point.
