teamThe AQHA International Horsemanship camp on 22-24th June at Horse Creek Farm saw clinicians from Sam Houston State University work with over 20 horses and riders over the weekend.  Beautiful weather, great company, great fun and a huge amount of experience was on offer to those who attended, who all said it was one of the best events they had ever  attended.  The Sam Houston Team were sad to leave March, having made a lot of new friends and fans.
We've uploaded over 100 photos from the weekend that can be viewed HERE  and keep checking back for the Movie!!

Rather than us wax lyrical about how great it was, how about we let the participants speak for themselves.

"Fantastic weekend, weather, friends, food, and clinician perfection.  Only one complaint... it was only 3 days!"

"Where else would you get such great value for your money along with socialising with friends.  You can join in and learn as much as you want whether its reining, trail or rail work.  there is something going on for everyone and you take home great memories and knowledge of what to work on for your riding skills.  The weather has also been kind to us.  Anyone reading this wondering what it would be like for them.  Don't worry if your riding is not as good as the "big boys" come along to the next one and experience it for yourself.".

"Absolutely fantastic!  This is my first clinic and i was apprehensive as this was going to be my first experience riding in front of western instructors and fellow western enthusiasts but everyone is so friendly, and its got a great warm atmosphere.  The instructors on this camp have excellent instruction skills, taking as much time as YOU need.  I have learnt so much in such a short space of time, feel confident to go home and practice, practice, practice!  I can't wait for an opprotunity to attend a camp like this again.  My names definately gonna be on that list!  I'll take this opportunity to say a big thank you and it's been a pleasure meeting so many nice people."

"Had a great two days as a spectactor as my daughter rode and I felt very welcome and involved.  Very good company of people and horses all around.  Enjoyable sociable and educational and saw a lovely improvement in my daughter with her horse."

"Over the last few days my horse and I have improved massively.  yes we had our ups and down,s one day tired, the next ready to go, but we have pulled through and learned a great a mount.  Thanks to all the great clinicians from SHSU."

"I have enjoyed the clinic, good company, everyone friendly.  I have learnt plenty and hope to practice when I get back home.  The clinicians were great, giving clear instructions and very friendly.  Thanks for a great time."

"I've had an awesome time and learnt so much!  All the clinicians are so friendly and I hope I've made some friends I can keep in contact with!  Would love to do another camp again!"

"Great clinicians, fantastic facility, fabulous food, all in all one of the best weekends I've had"

And from the Clinicians....

"What a great group of people!  I have had so much fun showing my passion for the Quarter Horse industry and what better way to experience this half way around the world!  It is truly wonderful to see the eagerness and progress everyone has made. To be honest, I have thoroughly enjoyed my own progress whilst working with such fantastic people.  Thank you everyone.  I feel so lucky!
